We always recommend having your exhaust system hooked up to an alarm system.  We install a heat sensor pad on all our watercans so that you can easily hook up your system.  Most systems are wired for being "normally opened".  So if the temperature goes to 200°F or above the switch closes and sets off the alarms.  We also carry the Viking Yachts thermostats in stock for their systems.
